I was under the impression that DVD-Audio discs would possibly be using
a lossless compression system that was essentially 1/2 the size of the
usual PCM method. ie .wav .aif .CDaudio

clearly its a bit late to implement this on CD. 
And well, I keep hearing that ppl are over these Long CD releases
approaching 80mins where 50% is basically *filler*. 
Why do you need a longer CD? 
how much can/do you want to say in one release?
