a friend of mine built a somewhat similar device but out of a kangaroo!

both the viditar and the kangaroo seem to use macromedia director? as the
engine. there is not much tech info on the viditar however. looks like they
want to patent it though!


things like the iCubeX system (http://www.infusionsystems.com) and
max/nato.modular (http://m9ndfukc.com) would let you build some pretty
spiffy realtime video instruments....
