a new set and various thoughts about freedom and money
I posted a set of brief pieces that might interest you, especially if there
are those of you really starved for entertainment.
http://billjarboe.klatch.co.uk/mp3s there are also images which, though
probably not that spectacular on their own, in casual conjunction with the
audio suggest a sort of area or indescribable experience beyond the material
presented that I am resolute enough to believe is essential to life at this
point in time , though maybe not everybody's life.

The pieces 'spine, spit, spring, stud, style' and 'bonnie bright theory two
copy' actually(in case you run across them) were meant to be played as aif.
files. I mean, I'm not making excuses or anything and I think they work well
as mp3s. The thing is; I like to sometimes release pieces of music in
accordance with my vision of what I would like people to be playing in the
near future. You see. . . .if you'd like an aif. file I could probably
arrange something and that way you could play it and vaporize , delineate
etc. the file.
I was really impressed by the 'parasites'project , and it might be my
imagination yet it seems there are more individuals from different parts of
the earth who don't use english as their primary language involved in this
one( compared to other projects I've noticed with a similar structure) and
if this is true it's a good sign.
I like the idea of being able to produce recognizable work without it being
assigned a monetary value up front. I think the scenario gives a rather
broad audience an opportunity to question what has value.
On the other hand when one starts charging money for it, it can widen the
field of opportunity for everyone, people with money are generally
questioning how they should invest it(?) what has value(?). one can hardly
invest in something that's free in order to make some kind of capital gain.
(note: it is necessary at this point to understand the difference between
investment and exploitation , as in utilizing a natural resource.)
I've lived in Spokane( eastern washington) which is a famous test market,
and also Seattle tends to be a place that starts commercial trends, urban
planning 'concepts' and even political ideas. I am used to new things
suddenly becoming viable products , that previously may have been ignored or
not taken seriously.
