hello all.
lately i have been thinking more seriously about getting some
microsound and sound art performances going in the pacific northwest
(seattle, portland etc...) these would not just be local artists but
artists from around the states/world. i'm thinking perhaps some
performers on mego, touch, 12k, line, raster-noton and other similar
lable. the primary focuses would most likely be
a. process
b. aesthetics
c. theory
d. a good ole time. :)

i am easily able to get places booked and
have the proper support from the community for these kinds of
performances. my question to everyone else here is one more of what
kind of performance environment do people prefer? do people prefer
local art galleries? normal clubs? what are your common "wish it was
like this" ideas when you perform. any other suggestions or feedback
relating to this idea would be greatly appreciated.

oh, one last thing. do most people when lining up performances prefer
to go through their label, or to be spoken to directly? thanks much in
advance!
