Hi All,

The hotline server seems to be back up.

Deadline for submitting tracks to the McDonna project
is tonight.

If it's ok, tomorrow we'll download the tracks, finish a
web page with them and announce it.


For those who been asking/wondering about mcdonna:

Simply, create a new piece using the samples from a recent
'Madonna Remix Contest'.

Guidelines:

.. Get the samples here:
    Uploads/McDonna dropbox/soundfiles

.. Place your piece here:
    Uploads/McDonna dropbox/myfolder

.. Please name your folder something unique and not 'myfolder'
              
.. Post to the list that you have uploaded your piece
(include the name of the piece)
                
.. Upload only 128kbps 44.1kHz stereo .mp3 files

.. Keep the piece under 5 minutes

.. Use filetype suffixes in your filenames:
    mynewpiece.mp3

.. Do not use spaces or non-alphanumerics chars in filenames:
    good: myNewPiece.mp3
    bad: #my new, /piece!.mpeg3
    underscores_are_ok
