Sugarplant || pop crossovers too.

Yes "dry fruit" is currently licensed by SHIBUYAHOT which is a division of Apricot (a very nice German pop label). It is supposedly a worldwide distribution deal, unfortunately it is still very difficult to find in the US and I imagine elsewhere. The earlier releases are also harder to find now that World Domination went under.

re: indiepop. I am an unapologetic pop fan and based on recent Sugar plant and OMD threads, I think I'm not alone here. :)
Sugar plant seem to fit in nicely with some of the ideals of this list. If we start talking Brittle Stars or The Pastels it might be a different story!

I especially find the place where pop and clicky electronics meet very interesting.

-Ensemble
-Lali Puna (to a much lesser extent)
- etc.

Can anyone think of others? Anyone else on the list making this type of music?

hi to the indiepop,,,,,,ooops,,,microsound list,

Yes, the music of this duo is utterly sublime, and "After After=20
Hours," the precursor to "Trance Mellow," is quite nice as well. Now=20
if only "Dry Fruit" could be found for less than $40...

just look at=20 www.apricot-records.de
