Hi, 

I'm using it too - excellent piece of kit in my opinion. 
jMax looks pretty but doesn't have all of the functionality 
I need - I haven't checked out the latest release though. 

Hopefully latency in PD under windows will improve with the 
new versions with ASIO support. As has been pointed 
out there is a great comunity around PD. Check out 
my website for music made with PD and my PD 
externals.

I'm dual booting w. red-hat / maybe pure data runs better on linux ??
