on visual aspects...

why a patch? why not some images abstract/figurative giving some visual 
reference for the audience? why not in sync with notes/images, 
controllers/fusion,color or make some narrative process about the music? or 
lava lamps with midi controllers? i don´t know.

I think that the audience seems less interested in seeing the aura of an 
actor. i think it seems that the audience tries to receive the complete 
experience as one, and if finds analogies between sounds and visuals, 
better.
