The problem isn't with customers, it's with labels. Many indie buisnesses (not always run by the most experienced buisness men) use this stradegy. Sell stuff fast, don't pay the people who front you the goods. I did a zine for a few years and I never got paid by a distributer (out of 3!), when I went to the See Hear store, the owner laughed in my face.
