 The American Composers Forum-Boston Area Chapter presents
 Sonic Circuits IX: International Electronic Music Festival
 Berklee College of Music, 22 Fenway Road, Boston(next to Boston 
Conservatory)
 May 4, at 8 pm
 
 Sonic Circuits, one of the country's most widely acclaimed electronic 
music festivals-presents an evening of cutting-edge electroacoustic 
and computer music from around the globe The exciting line-up includes 
live performances by guitar virtuoso Juan Pablo De Zubiria, performing 
Adolfo Nuñez's Zonas encordadas;  Neil Leonard performing with his 
cyber-jazz ensemble featuring Andrew Neuman on computer and David 
Bryant, synthesist with Ornette Coleman. Other works include X-tronics 
improvisations by Glenn Ianaro; Live music & video by Standard(Ben 
Pacheco & Dave Linnenbank), computer-generated animation by Dennis 
Miller; Andrew Eisenberg's live TV quartet, and new works by Kyoko 
Kobayashi and Christien Jaksio.  
 
Sonic Circuits, a program of the American Composers Forum, comprises a 
caravan of works traveling throughout the world during 2001-2002. 
Compositions include live performance with electronics, video art, new 
media art, sound art, and works for electroacoustic tape. The American 
Composers Forum, one of the largest and most enterprising composer 
service organizations in the U.S., links communities with composers 
and performers, encouraging the making, playing, and enjoyment of 
music.
