Plan â ârandomiserâ 7â single
gos004/2002
2 turntables, some records, tapes, radiowaves and a distortion pedal combined in a noisy mixture. ârandomiserâ, a soundbullet through your brain, shows 4 extreme djing sessions, recorded directly to dat. Originally recorded in 1996 and released in `97 by Scion Records in a limited edition of 100 copies, grain of sound proudly re-distributes it in 2002. Yoshi Yamamoto (the japanese alter-ego to a portuguese born photographer) designed a completely new cover. Plan is LuÃs Temudo, a turntablist and graphic designer who lives and works in Lisbon.
Formatt â âeditoâ
gos005/2002
Peter Smeekens is the belgian sound designer behind
formatt, "edito" brings up to front a body of work
based in fragments and loops of all sorts that "kind of
grew on itself to make the record", as the author said
to grain of sound. Formatt reconstructs those tiny
pieces into more or less coherent tracks, seeking some
kind of "gritty", deep feeling, through a very austere
way. Smeekens lives in Turnhout, a small city near Antwerp.
Forthcoming releases:
Koji Asano_JoÃo Pinto â âdeconstruct_rebuildâ
Tu M â ânine songsâ
Thakx very much for the attention,
