If you get a HEX editing program that can open any
file type and display the hexcode in an editor you can
copy and paste from one file to another.

So you could open any type of file be it photoshop,
word, copy the HEX and then open up an AIFF file and
paste from the former to the latter being carefull not
to paste over the first part which is the header. 


I found a MAC HexEdit program at
