Re: [microsound] personal music



I think this is an interesting argument, because a particular music can
obviously give you a different perception of the space you're into, but
also the viceversa is important. I start to work on a project called
"music for walkman" in which basically I play very minimal music with
piano mixed with recordings of sounds of Italian cities (I'm starting
with Rome and Venice) like you're walking in those cities. I think in
fact that the external sounds that you hear while walking with a walkman
become a new instrument in the song you're listening... I know mine it's
not an original idea, do you know about artists that have
recorded/played sounds from cities?
