simple, more people putting money into a commonity means more ability for 
availalblity of this sort of music which equals more awareness and 
experimentation from out side of the community by others. Its like this: 
how did you hear of microsound (or what ever you personally called it 
befor it was called MS, I had refered to it as experiemental music back 
in the 80s and 90s when i first was exposed to the work of kims and others)? 
didnt that exposure to it turn 
you on to it and cause a new found interest for your self in the music 
now how ever you choose to take that new found interest is up to you: as a 
consumer, a producer, a promoture and so forth. Well with more money being 
spent on these labels becasue of that larger interest it means more 
records can come out and more people will be exposed to it...
