Re: [microsound] stochastic synthesis {was: prvw nw trck frm 'nt-Crrltn'}
Kim, it sounds like you're reluctant to divulge the secrets of your
stochastic synthesis technique, but I would be appreciative if you or
anyone else could give me some leads on stochastic software synthesis.
Is there some way to do this in CSound? What about chaotic synthesis
(timbre generation based on chaos theory) or fractal synthesis? I would
be interested in hearing about software solutions for this kind of thing
if anyone has any ideas. I work on both Mac and PC, as well as various
Unix-type systems, so feel free to suggest software for any of these
platforms. Thanks!
