A friend of mine Jason12 from KC Missouri has been doing video mixing and 
effects at raves and clubs for at least 6 or 7 years. His set up was composed 
of a couple of s-video decks and a custom video mixer, and a Video Toaster 
(old video effects like wipes you see in bad public access shows) this is by 
no means new, but with magazines everything is new, that's how they make 
money. Take something that has potential of being cool + been around for a 
while, and make it seem new and hip.

That's what our culture has become....
