but doesn't every genre(argghhhh) of music have it 15 minutes of pop?


I feel the pop construct is more of a sonic corrupter (or vacumous whore 
sucking stlyes up use abuse and spit out) wrapping its 3minute symphonies 
around other more abstract forms, the motivation behind which is another 
discussion....


As for microsound pop... Look/Listen at BT production of N-Sync's Pop, 1000s 
of microsound edits wrapped up in a song for teenagers.
