Re: [microsound] "Expanded Cinema"

Late, on this, sorry, I spend my weekdays behind a firewall ...

Yes, the whole series (referred to as the Dilexi series, after the
folks who bankrolled them) that _Music with Balls_ was a part of was
restored and screened at the Pacific Film Archive back in 1991 ... the
rest of the series included

_Hardcore_, a landscape film by Walter de Maria
_The Paul Swan Film_, a (color!) portrait film by Andy Warhol
_Burnt Weeny Sandwich_, yes, what you imagine it is
_Rite of Guerrilla Theater_, documentary of a Living Theater
performance at Mills College, by Eugene Dohery & Seth Hill
_Night-Eye, Fire_, by John Coney, with Kenneth Dewey & the Action
Theater
_What do you Talk About_ by Robert Nelson
_Conversations in Vermont_ by Robert Frank
_Empire of Things_ by Philip Makanna
_Making Visible_ by Edwin Schlossberg_
_Right On_ by Ann Halperin w/ Coney
_Dance Fractions for the West Coast_ by Yvonne Rainer

Not your average Petroleum Broadcasting System programming, is it?

I find myself always torn between two beliefs: the belief
that life should be better than it is and the belief that
when it appears better it is really worse.
