A huge cube (8 x 3 metres) in a vast darkened space. Images & shadows
projected through the cube walls. Sounds emanating from the cube. A
cinematic and sound improvisation presented at the Darling Foundry.

Le Cube, both an installation and a concert, will be presented from within a
screen-cube. The musicians and filmmakers will not leave the cube during the
12 hours performance.

The public is invited to experience any one of the sides of the square.
Images will be projected randomly from within the tactile and soft walls.
The light, sound and movement from the cube will create a sculpture of
amazing light patterns.  The music will be an interplay between acoustic and
electronic sounds created on various home made tools and instruments.

The principle is to work with and through a multitude of types of images
(from very different sources) and of sounds (from sources as varied as
acoustic / electronic material) and thus to create an interdependence
between the two.

Impro sessions will be open to the public and other sound artists: August
16,17, 21, 22 from 2pm to 8pm
