the website http://kvr-vst.com/ has links to information about vst plugin
programming ( as well as a few other formats, i believe ).

the mailing list is rather high volume, but populated by steinberg employees
and vst coders; very useful.  i don't recall the link, but it's on kvr-vst.com
or steinberg.de somewhere
