[microsound] digidome: call for submissions

Hi to all video artists!
This is paved Art + New Media...

We're looking for short videos for a unique multimedia event which
will be held in Saskatoon at the end of September. Digidome is a
festival of contemporary sound, music, and digital video. The
two-day event will be held at the Odeon NIteclub on Sept. 27th, and
the Ramada Golf Dome on Sept. 28th. We're expecting a diverse
crowd of media artists and aficionados, musicians from the regional
electronic music scene, students, and probably a few surprises!

We're interested in silent videos of 6 to 15 minutes in length. Our
suggested themes are B-Movies or The Visual Glitch. Invited audio
artists from across Canada will perform alongside the videos
selected for the event. Audio artists include David Turgeon (camp),
Liminal Projects, Ian Birse and Laura Kavanaugh, Marinko Jareb,
Arden Hill (duul_drv), Bryce Kushnier (vitaminsforyou), Carrie
Gates, Jon Vaughn, Max Haiven, and Aimé Dontigny. Examples of the
audio artists' works may be heard through links at the
www.digidome.ca website.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: September 10th.
Artist fees will be paid. All artists who submit a video will
receive one complimentary weekend pass to the festival.
