RE: [microsound] digital sound / digital aesthetics.

thanks for replies, they have been very interesting.

I was also wondering about what sort of aesthetical
issues separate computer music and digital music?
Computer Music tends to manipulate digital
representations of sound rather than controllable
analogue devices (as has been mentioned), and digital
music tends to be constructed with computers and lots
of the same software and sound generation techniques.
So is the difference purely stylistic. Is digital
music simply  a new-computer-music that is being
created outside of acadamies by a 'younger'
generation? Is electroacoustic more easily separated
from digital-music, computer-music in that the
technological tools and the use of digital are not
main aesthetical considerations or explorations?
