i have a somewhat related software question... can some PC users direct me
to some freeware/shareware VST host software?

i have a friend with a PC who wants to do basic VST effects on files... not
even real-time... and does not want to buy Cubase or Logic or some such
thing...

I am a Mac person so any help would be appreciated.
