low frequency weapons could be in use by riot cops in seattle/genoa type
situations as early as next year. there's also a lovely new crowd control
device that blasts protesters with microwaves. your skin feels like its
burning off, but supposedly it doesn't harm you at all.

on the brighter side of kims e-mail, the opportunities for sound engineers,
music producers and even guerrilla artists are pretty cool.
