Re: [microsound] Dialtones - A Telesymphony

I did, but wasn't that shoked. really.

the subject is not about "adding" something. it is a fact.
you cannot fight unforeseen composants of a live performance.
so maybe the best way to appreciate those moments and not getting angry is
to consider life noises as a part of the concert.
people screaming on the 1913 live recording of "Le Sacre du Printemps" by
Stravinsky (not distributed but this recording does exist), people talking
during the Velvet Underground concert at Max's, or even that classic concert
i've seen a few weeks ago, with a non-stop cougher right in front of the
pianist, not only perturbing general atmosphere but also the way she played
a Beethoven sonata, all those interventions of hazard are precious and
sometimes interact with the original work to create something new and
absolutely unpredictable.
but i agree, this is only a point of view.

> I agree ... now if it had been a symphony of coughers ...

i guess matmos wasn't in the room. ;-)
