two new releases from cut

cut  008 		jason lescalleet	«mattresslessness»
jason lescalleet's sound world occupies a space between noise, 
contemporary composition, and minimal electronics. using decidedly 
primitive tactics, his work focuses on extreme frequencies and 
microscopic audio detail.
this is the first solo cd from jason lescalleet, who has previously 
recorded with john hudak and greg kelley.
recorded june 2002 at glistening labs, usa.

cut  009 		repeat  		«pool»
«pool» is the fourth cd from repeat, with toshimaru nakamura 
(no-input mixing board) and jason kahn (percussion, electronics). 
unlike previous recordings from repeat, the tracks on «pool» result 
from re-mixing of original source
material. initial recordings made in July 2001 at studio midi, france.
