i think its wonderful to think of it in that sense,, field recordings are
very much like photographs, everything in every picture taken didnt slow
down and still hasnt, it was just documented,,, so the idea of processing
the recording of a passing train and presenting it as a composition is
nothing more than a rendered documentation of something that is most likely
still happening.and will continue.....
its very exciting. to me anyway.
