maybe a conceptual and deliberate silence as opposed to unexpected silence created by a tonal quatlity solely induced by a snap to zero or something... (... which I think is terribly over utilised in this culture, but that's just me..)

I think the legitimate breaks that seperate distance and location of a tone (or what have you) from the non-localised experience in which the mind concieves of these sound signals maybe could be something like a frequency that resides completely to irraticate sound as a design. Maybe like a form of music that doesn't necessarily block sound.. but adds to the resting of sounds in general - or perhaps I'm stumbling on to the building blocks of conventional noise...??
