knowing what sort of music these guys are into, it's probably a GOOD
thing that they use the same artists on all their comps, because the
majority of the "followers" are even worse than the originals... not
like the main recipe offers much choice: there's only so much you can do
with a "dubby" vacuum cleaner sound souped up into an unimaginative 4/4
beat that lacks any sort of groove whatsoever... it's not even a good
purchase if you want to look cool, as the trend has gotten 'out' a
little over a year ago. but maybe MP is about to get into electroclash?
or "bootlegs"? that might be interesting if only for discovering how
far into pop mediocrity one can delve while still being taken seriously
by (say) the wire...

now, a while ago i gave them some tracks that offered some improvements
on their basic designer style, but they never took them... so you can't
say i didn't try to help them out...

nice cover design though!!!!!@@@$#$$$$###

PS: what's up with ekkehard ehlers making a whole 10 minute song out of
such an obvious beatles sample ("good night") on his "plays" CD? a bit
embarassing is it not? fortunately most of the rest of the album is
quite beautiful, except maybe for that ridiculous closing track. o
well, 8 good tracks out of 10 is still a great score these days...

have a nice day
