Re: [microsound] sound manager recorder

i believe sndmgrin~ was buggy...and now superceded by spigot~ which can be found as part of the jitter demo (you can download it and use it free for 30 days), but does not require the jitterlib, so you can freely use it with max/msp.

if you don't have max/msp, there will probably surface a standalone, if there isn't one already...this has been an age-old request...to record direct to disk from the soundmanager...something i have wanted to do for a long time...i think digital performer allows you to do this as well...

best future,
john

was i dreaming or did i in the last few days find a reference to a
software that permits recording direct to disk from the soundmanager
in a macintosh (i.e from any application that generates sound ...)
 ????

there is a max object called "sndmgrin" that does it.

dunno a download location thou..

that routes sndmanager thru max

the one i heard of was a standalone application ....

?
