Re: [microsound] brutish bruitists



Correct me if I'm wrong, but Brutism (noise music) was associated with Dada
and Futurism--the Cabaret Voltaire and all the crazy war-time dada poetry and
surrealist theater going on then, post-Russolo's Art of Noise and
intonarumori, I think.  As opposed to Art Brut, which deals with outsider art
(Dubuffet, et al).  As opposed to Brutalism, which I think was an
architectural movement/style (Le Corbusier?).
