the OVNIdirectional mics replace phase information, passing un-phased audio
directly to dev/null.

this operation cannot be undone.

it is recommended that the OVNIdirectional mic not be left unnattended. in
rare cases, local temporal de-gaussing may occur. in these instances there
is a un-installer remover available.
