"embedded" is to be an exploration of what can be achieved when pushing against 
the limits memory space, clock speed, restricted functionality and purpose 
specific infrastructure. specific targets include but are not limited to: 

circuit bending 
video game systems 
embedded systems (phones, appliances, etc.) 
custom software / algorithmic composition 
custom hardware / mechanical systems 

this compilation is open to all interested parties who feel they can offer a 
successful example that re-inforces the overall theme. the exact format of the 
collection is to be decided once all material has been submitted. closing date 
for submissions is December 1st, 2002. each participant will receive copies of 
the finished release as remuneration. 

requirments are as follows: 

maximum track length is 5 minutes 
documentation must be provided for a track to be accepted (at minimum a 
description of how the project was acheived). you must justify why your track 
falls under scope of the project for it to be accepted (no exceptions). this 
will be included in documentation for the final release in some form. use of 
sampling and found sound is allowed but preference will be given to tracks 
created through non-traditional means 

multiple tracks can be submitted (and is encouraged) but it will depend on how 
much material is received as to how many tracks are ultimately used any tracks 
used for this compilation must be exclusive, previously unreleased material any 
submissions must be accompanied with proper contact information (email address 
specifically) final selection of tracks is up to deterrent industries 
(submission of a track does not guarantee acceptance) interested parties should 
complete form below to show that they intend to submit material finished tracks 
and documentation should be sent to one of the following for consideration:
