Indeed .. you're probably right , media is the message and that whole thing.
I'm probably just aplying my personal tendency to
 over-conceptualize to everybody.

Agreeing that a hierarchy is not necessary , would you agree with me that in
general terms people tend to spend these days more time thinking about their
gear than about what they are really trying to convey thru their work??
