recently, i burned a data cd full of mp3 files. when i took it to my
new machine and played it, i discovered 2 new files which were strange
mixes of dozens of other tracks, mostly guitar-rock music. i was unable
to replicate this phenomenon but the two tracks i ended up with a
surprisingly good. who knew my cd burner had such talent ?

i used to put text and image files into impulse tracker as new instruments
and i vaguely remember having interesting results with that.
