yes, I seed all my Rands with the number of ticks since startup...I'm always
amazed at how different they can behave...
also, the randomness I use is for my own use: to distance myself from
directly affecting all the parameters of a piece...the audience would never
know my algo was choosing rnd numbers since my intervention performs a
real-time fitness function on the data...
