Re: [microsound] re: mp3 and CD-r labels
I've noticed (when it comes to this music) the "top 40 public" has a hardtime with this music due to no Singing or lyrics/words. They dont like repative loops, they dont appreciate really odd sounds. They feel it has NO human element. Example, I was at work playing a Microstoria track at work and one of my co-workers turned his head very puzzled and asked.."Do you hear that...wheres that coming from?" Never in his mind did he consider that was music!
I feel the Underground will always be there..Dance music just in the last 10 years has really become accepted by the general public, but look how cheesy it has become. This is just my opinion, with best regards to all!
