ot: max app & issues w/sound apps

Hello,
You may want to trash the pref files for all of your audio apps (just search
for the words pref and preferences on your hard drive and throw everything
out).
I had a problem like this a long time ago, and that was the solution.
Also, if that doesn't work you may want to post this query on the max
list, where more people may have ideas.

Anyone who knows something about this, any help would be nice.

I've been running a max/msp stand alone application, and for some reason the
last time I used it, I had some problems with my other audio applications
(specifically, Peak, Reason and all applications that play .aiff, .wav and
...mp3 files). What's happening is that they are all running the sound files
VERY SLOW, at about half the speed they were recorded.

Has anyone else dealt with something like this before?
