I just saw it the other night too.  It certainly made me pay attention.  
Personally, I was impressed with their microphones, they seemed a little too 
high end for those guys.  I guess someone holding a tiny MD recorder with a 
built-in mic wouldn't be "dramatic" enough.  

But I did find it interesting that they thought this scenario would sell 
cars.  What does that mean?  A lot of people are going to think 1) this is 
weird, no one would do that.  Some people will think, 2) what a great idea, I 
wonder if anyone has actually done that.  And then there are those of us who 
will say, "shit, I've been doing that for years, put ME in your damn 
commercial!" 

Actually, I have liked the music that Nissan has used in its commercials over 
the last year or so.  I have much more of an appreciation for techno when I 
can look at a new car at the same time.
