Vittorio Gelmetti - musiche elettroniche - Nepless
(italy)
Tracks 1 & 2 are purely electronic pieces. Track 2 is the one that was
used throughout Red Desert. It is called Modulazioni per Michelangelo.
Tracks 3-5 are collage pieces using radio, tape, and electronic sounds.
The pieces span the years from 1963 to 1969. I think the electronic
pieces and assorted moments are quite wonderful. There are moments in the
collage work that remind me of Fellini/Rota and others that sound very
David Lynch/"Fats" Waller (i.e. Eraserhead).
Best, Dale
