Aaron,
Hi. Good to see you on this list! I think if you are mindfully doing 
whatever you happen to be doing you will react appropriately to your 
environment. When you're making music you're making music. When you're 
voting or writing letters to your representatives or protesting or 
buying organic groceries that's what you're doing. Just accept your 
music making for what it is and it can be political or not.
