superiority of visual art on music!".

If you read some of his book, he like Harpo Marx (and the 2 others?).

Dali said he hate music because it's an abstraction and for him, abstraction
is not the most important thing because, even in the classical art (painting)
you can find abstraction. Remember the composition of the renaissance with
the "canon" for human construction. Take a Veermer and draw it with line, you
have a Mondrian!
But Dali like provocation and he was always happy to show what he can do with
musician.
