I met Shawn in Sheffield last year and was very impressed with his
installation...he had little motors with wires on them scratching metal
plates...the speed of each motor was controlled by a Basic Stamp (connected
in a network with all the others) that used simple rules which allowed
behaviors to emerge...this then had an impact on the sound...very very nice
work and nice person!
I highly suggest checking out his work...
