Peter Edwards of <a
href="http://www.casperelectronics.com";>Casperelectronics.com</a>
circuit-bends toys like the TI Speak and Spell to create unique
instruments. He has supplied a collection of sounds from his projects for
this remix contest.

The creator of the remix with the most votes will recieve <a
href="http://www.salvobeta.com";>Salvo Beta</a>'s remix CD, Evil Against
Evil (Someoddpilot), which features remixes by Hrvatski, Sutekh, String
Theory, Atropa, K-Rad, Safety Scissors, Pele, Jake Mandell and <a
href="http://someoddpilotrecords.com/sopr007.htm";>more</a>.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download the audio files individually <a
href="http://www.modsquare.com/remix/FEB03/download/";>here</a> or .zipped
<a
href="http://www.modsquare.com/remix/FEB03/download/Modsquare_Remix-FEB03-Peter_Edwards.zip";>here</a>.

2. Create a 30-180 second track using ONLY the supplied audio files. You
may effect, timestretch, and distort these samples however you want, but
you cannot add your own samples or instruments.

3. Send either a link to your finished track in .mp3 format (preferred) or
the track itself to <a
href="mailto:editor@xxxxxxxxxxxxx";>editor@xxxxxxxxxxxxx </a> with the
subject line, "Modsquare Remix Submission" by 5PM CST February 13, 2003.
The track name must be in this format:
Track_Name-Artist_Name-Peter_Edwards_Remix.mp3.

4. Voting will start on February 17, 2003.
