it's well accepted mailing list etiquette that people who participate
constructively to a list (by posting relevant, on-topic messages as kim
does more often than most, & as you & i currently do not) can also use
the list for some sort of promotion, as this promotion is, more likely
than not, bound to be of interest to the other members of the list.

also, may i point out, as many of my colleagues did, that the
'unsubscribe' command can be performed flawlessly by a 8-year old child.

i don't see what the Big Problem is.  is this list turning into troll
county or what?
