Many moons ago, David Fodel and I posted a beatbox version of Autechre's
Gnit online for people to de/reconstruct. The results are up and they're
pretty cool... five versions including one by Kim Cascone, one by David, and
one by yours truly. check 'em...

ReGnit project Background:

Last year, David Byrne brought two phenomenal vocal artists -- a cappella
diva Marie Daulne of Zap Mama and Beatbox wunderkind Scratch from the Roots
-- into the studio to record a vocals-only version of Autechre's seminal
track, 'Gnit.' The sounds and beats that were produced amazed all of us at
Luaka Bop.

Now, we're posting the track in MP3 format so that electronic artists can
re-imagine and re-invent it once again. An electronic reinterpretation of a
vocal version of an electronic classic. Or something like that. Have at it!
MP3s of the re-mix will be posted online for all to check out.
