different trains is superb , im pretty sure its from electric counterpoint
(of which new york counterpoint is a reworking) electric counterpoint was
famously sampled by the orb in little fluffy clouds.
King of sampling?, well tape loops i suppose. He did some (lots?) of phasing
peices with speech etc "its gonna rain"  and "come out to show them" are a
few.
All in all amazing stuff Ide love to see his stuff live. I missed some in
brighton a couple of weeks ago (www.clubquiet.com).
