The idea that "hit" songs are determined by mathematical properties is
nice, but it leaves out the role of the socio-cultural "zeitgeist" in
hit determination, and may actually be an alibi for the intense (and
often illegal) "promotion" that corporate record companies do for their
records. (See the book _The Hit Men_ for more on this.)
Still, it would be interesting to obtain this software and feed some
microsound into it. Maybe a future list project would be to use this
software in some way in the creation of a piece. Either to create an
"anti-hit" or a glitch piece to de-thrown Queen Aguilera! :-)
