Since I'm mostly dissatisfied with work-arounds, I emailed Arun - the author of
wigout - about the problem. He has made some alterations to wigout, and posted
a new version at his website.

I haven't tried it yet but hope to do so tomorrow. Maybe it's a little late for
this project... [shrug]
