Club Praxis proceeds the spring program at Jumo Jazz Club on March 6th.
The program consists of cheerful experimentalism by Jazzkammer from Norway
and some classics of the 20th century indeterminate music performed by
Helsinki Computer Orchestra which is conducted by (performance) art
extraordinaire Erkki Pirtola. The orchestra interprets Play by Christian
Wolff and selections from Cornelius Cardew's magnum opus Treatise. In
addition to live music, the evening starts with a screening of rare
documentary footage from the music performances by the korean fluxus
legend Nam June Paik. The concert is a part of Musica Nova festival.
